battery drain

Why if you dont turn the radio knob to the off position on my factory radio it will drain the battery in a few hours and i have no rear sound at all??

Sounds like a short some where. it should turn off when you turn the key off.

Sounds like someone might have had the factory unit out, cut wires and reinstalled it and wired it to the constant power wire. Even after the key is off, the radio is still operational?

the radio goes off and i checked all the wires but there is still a buzz from the speakers after key is off until you tun the knob to off position factory wiring harness not cut i added a new ground wire to back of unit because factory ground missing still same thing could the head unit have a short in it ?
