a 1500w amp should be able too run a 750w RMS sub, shouldn't it? no problems? or would a 1800w amp be better? or a weaker amp..?

the sub came with the box and all I know is 750w rms peak, and the amp is 1500w, says 1500w x 2 ohms but I figure it puts out about half that, and says 700w rms x 1

it's a mono, not bridgeable, powering 1 750w rms peak 10" sub, and I'd have it wired to 2 ohms

If you over power your sub you will blow it. i would get a 5-750 watt amp for your sub. so you dont blow i, have seen 2 kicker comp 12s blow because they were hooked up to a 1000 watt amp.

I currently have mine set to the max, 800 per sub. Sony xplod amp and 2 10 inch kicker subs, with a homemade sealed box. Whatever you do. Get a smaller amp or swap out the amp for a 2 channel amp and get another sub.

Trust me, I've blown one out and it's pretty sketchy while driving down the road when it blows out.

It really depends on the peak and what ohm they're on.. My buddy had two 10's that were 750rms each and had two 1600watt amps pushing them on 2ohm.

You can just set the power limit on your amp...well at least you can on mine, I have two dual voice coil subs rated at 300 rms and 600 peak powered by a 2000 watt mono amp...i have the subs bridged and the amp turned down...works just fine

I think I'm gonna go with a power acoustic 2000w amp, reviews say pretty consistently it puts out about 850-875 rms, so with the gain down think that will be a good fit.
