Alright so I got a brand new head unit. I used the harness adapter from my previous after marker stereo and wired it to the plug on my new one. I have power to the head unit. I tested to make sure it puts out sound through the audio wires. Also I get sound to my subs and power to my aftermarket amp. I have a problem with my wiring harness/connections to the speakers. I previously have taken out the amps from the door speakers and replaced the speakers with no issues. I have a solid blue (power antenna) wire connected to nothing. Also I have a blue with black stripe wire that idk what to do with. I have tried grounding it, ans I have tried connecting a remote wire to it as it has been suggested to me and has not helped. Any help is appreciated.

#1 wire nuts are a very bad idea. Not made to be used in a vehicle. Moving away from that, What do you have the blue wire thats in the black plug hooked up to?

It isn't connected to anything. It's the power antenna wire. And since I don't have a power antenna I did not connect it to anything. There is a antenna control wire on the plug from the new stereo but it's connected to itself and I didn't think it would affect if it works or not so I didn't mess with it. And I have a feeling you may be about to tell me it does ._.

NO NO NO NO NO lol thats not just the power antenna wire, thats also the amp wire. Like i said like 30 posts ago in the other thread, connect that solid blue wire to the blue wire with the white stripe coming out of the new stereo.

Wow I guess I missed that part haha. So I connect that to the remote wire from the stereo and then ground the stray blue/black wire from the oem harness ?

The solid blue wire thats in the the black plug gets wired to the blue/white amp wire on the new stereo plug. Forget about any other wires for now. That single black/blue wire you have in your hand is the stock ground. Thats meant to be connected to the ground wire on the new stereo.

No you didnt because if you did, you wouldnt have had to power them up using the blue/white wire to get sound. Dont know what you took out but it wasnt the amps lol.

Yes I know. I may have just took them off those speakers and wired them to the aftermarket speakers. But I was almost sure I took them out
