First off, let me state that I am brand new to this site, and new to my 97 dodge ram 1500.
I recently bought new speakers to replace the stock infinity ones in the truck, but then I can across the stock amp attached. How in the heck do you wire new speakers into it, when there's four wires, but only two on the new speakers? I've been looking all over the Internet, and haven't found anything. PLEASE someone be able to help me with these. Thanks!

First off, welcome to RF!

I do believe Dodge96Ram is the fella to talk to about this.

When I replaced mine I had 2 reds and 2 blacks that were coming out of the amp. They were already crimped into the connector for positive and negative. I just hooked them to my new speakers.

I was finally able to get the amp off the factory speakers, and got it hooked to the new ones. I've never seen a car that has a factory amp connected the the speakers though haha.
