Missing wires

Recently bought 2002 1500 .. Fair deal. Radio didn't work. Have pulled stock radio to ring only the larger of the 2 wiring plug-ins is present. Took apart dash....can't find a trace of the other plug, or the wires, or sign of them being cut.....any thoughts? Thanks

The power wire is probably bad they use the same radios in a number of vehicles. get the adapter for an aftermarket radio and an aftermarket radio for your vehicle. go to your fuse panel and use the radio fuse to insert a new power wire and run wire behind dash and use that wire for power for the new radio harness everything else will just fit together.

Thanks DodgeTx, that's gonna hafta be the way to go cause the one that should be there ain't no sign of. My friend told me if I kept going...all I would find is the engine. Ha ha ha
