Anyone running a Double Din?, RB1 or RB4?

and yes a double can fit with the proper trimming.

I have somethings I am going to try and list on craigslist to trade for one or sell out right to cover the cost hopefully

It doesn't look perfect but it's a work in progress. I am gonna get the bezel done in fiberglass and paint it electric blue pearl like the outside of the truck.

the Rb1 and rb4 are factory ones that are smaller than the double din, I believe optional up to 05

Looks good Abe, was it difficult to get it in there and mounted?

Luke, It wasn't a lot of cutting...just trial and error. I actually cut too much on the bottom portion of my bezel so just make small cuts until it fits. I had to use some mdf boards on the sides to hold it in because the double din is narrower than the opening of the bezel. I used plumbing backstrap to hold it in place.

man I'd kill for a double din, might just have to do some trimming instead of gettin one of the ones with the motorized screen that pops out. that's what iv been looking at but been scared I'd bend the screen back to much or something.

He used just some straps to hold it in place since there is no mounting bracket. Then you just wire it like your normal radio I would assume, plus adding the navigation stuff etc.

in all honesty you would be better off with aftermarket. The RB1 is better than the RB4 and overall is nice, but you can get soo much more with aftermarket.

Yes aftermarket is the way to go, and I think they are easier to update
