I replaced a non working instrument cluster with a used cluster. My truck does not have cruise. When I did the instrument test using the trip button it comes up no buss cruise. Then odometer shows no buss and engine light lights up. Could it be that I got a cluster out of a truck with cruise, giving me the no buss cruise? And if that is the problem can it be reprogrammed? I talked to dodge service manager and he said it is 150 to investigate. Do not want to spend the money till I get a better idea of what is wrong. Can't afford to just trust the dealer not to use me up.
