Heres what I'm going with for my 2001 dodge ram 2500 v10 quad cab sport

· Head Unit – Pioneer DEH-P8400BH
o Includes Wiring Harness Adapter
o Includes single DIN faceplate Adapter

· Mid/High Amp - Infinity REF475A 4-Channel (4 X 75w RMS @ 4ohms) Power Amplifier

· Sub Box – Fox Acoustics 2x12” Sealed (DQC-212-S) goes under rear bench seat
o http://www.foxacoustics.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=DQC-212-S

· Subs – 2x Alpine SWR-1223D (DVC 2ohm 600w RMS/each)

· Sub Amp – JL Audio JX1000/1D (1x1000w RMS @ 2ohm)
o JL Audio RBC-1 – Remote Bass Control

Was thinking of sticking w/ the stock door speakers/tweets at first with the Infinity REF475A amp upgrade.

Im thinking may be too much bass and ill need to go more power on the mids/highs ( and probably new speakers when i blow the stock ones :) )

Sound like an Ok install?

right now I have..

A pioneer 1300 single din
stock speakers..for now
probox ported box w/ 1 probox 10"
power acoustik 2000w monoblock (dont worry I know its not putting out that much)

I am planning on swapping the HU for the JVC 60bt double din and need to replace the door speakers for some new ones..the bass is drowning out the music and it kinda bugs me cuz I like to hear the lyrics..any suggestions?

Isn't it sad...I know almost nothing about my stereo. But when I turn it on music comes out. But I can make it so loud it gives me a headache. Yet you can't hear it outside the truck.
