Im having a few issues installing a reverse camera correctly. Ive got it "working" by using the white and light green wire at the reverse light to power the camera, AND in the cab that same color wire to signal the headunit to display....BUT my camera doesnt work if my lights are on AND the headunit constanly tries to display the camera.
I have read that I should use a Violet/Black in the cab as the signal wire for the headunit, and possibly run the camera on a 12v switched wire.
Where is the violet/black wire located in the cab?
Which wire in the harness rear of the vehicle would be 12v switched?
