So I'm looking at installing keyless entry on my 01 ram 1500, which currently only has power locks, no factory keyless entry. After a little research it seems I can get remote start as well for only pennys more than what a keyless entry alone would cost me. Viper seems a pretty popular brand but I see a lot of complaints in reviews by DIY'ers that they have issues with it, and that support is difficult to receive if you're not a dealer. I haven't seen as many reviews for other brands such as bullydog, avanti, or audiovox and so was wondering if yall had any opinions or experience that might sway me. Also if anyone knows of any write ups that would be pretty helpful stuff as well.
