Im not an audio guy, so i have no clue about brands, sound quality, etc. So im really needing some insight!

Currently i have a new sony stereo. But everything else sound wise, is stock. I have the oem infinity speakers. My goal is to replace all 4 door speakers with something better (if there is anything much better?) and also the tweeters.

Ive never even had the door panels off to see exactly what i can fit, what size speakers they are, and what all ill need to replace them. I know about the factory amps, and thats about all.

So what speakers do yall recommend? I was leaning towards kickers....

Rockford fosgate fanboy here. Kicker is good as is mtx and rockford although kicker products tend to be cheaper than the others the quality of sound is good.

Front door speakers are 6x9s. I don't remember the stock speakers because Dad swapped in a set of Pioneers years ago but I recently installed some Kicker 6x9s, I think 400w? Sound is great and dropped directly in. I really don't know audio very well either.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think the rear speakers are like, 4x5? or 4x6? or something

Rears are 5.25 or 5.5. It varies depending on who you ask.

No real budget merc. I mean i dont want amps, subs, etc. Just fresh speakers capable of producing loud but clear sound with some good bass. I dont need anything too special.

Could run a new head unit, speakers and run the factory door amps to em.
Right now i have a sony DSX-S210X head unit with the adapter to the factory wiring. All other audio componets are stock.

Merc, when you say the newer infinity speakers, do you mean like the ones in my girls durango? They sound AMAZING!!

Well if your wiring setup is still driving the factory amps, just get you some decent speakers and hook em up to the amps.

Will these work? They seem to be a pretty thick speaker. They wont run into my power windows? Im also wondering what the factory amps are putting out for wattage? Will these speakers be able to handle it.

Also, for those with crazy loud systems, do you know of any "rattle spots" that need to be addressed? I hate when people put 1000w systems in, and you cant hear over the interior rattleing.
