Stereo Speaker question

I know one of your stereo hounds out there will be able to spit the answer out quick. But I need to know the rear speaker size in the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 (Extended Cab) not the quad cab. The rear speakers are rather wore out and I would like to replace them.

I think they are 5 1/4's and the quads have 6 1/2s

Yup. 5 1/4's in the back. I was told by a buddy of mine that they were a pain to replace though

I already see it coming with the rear seat has to be removed and the back seat paneling and the seat belt etc... But I got a few reasons for getting it done and thought I got a few repairs back there plus pull the carpet to wash it. So it will be all done in the spring of the year...

You need stock OEM speakers let me know . I have the infinity ones out of my 01

Whats the difference between the Extended Cab and the Quad Cab?

The doors flip out on both sides like so

Extended cabs (94-97) didn't have the two rear doors like the quad cabs (98-02) did

Ahhhh I gotcha, I thought all 2nd gens had opending both rear doors like my 01. Learned somethin new today!
