I bought a used 1995 dodge ram 1500 laramie yesterday. It needed a headlight switch, no lights. Bought the kit with the wiring harness and put it in. That only took about a half hour.
The problem came when i went to back it out of my garage...dead...would not start. So after some poking around. I found a viper alarm had been installed that for some reason after i had installed the headlight switch decided to disable the truck. I disconnected the alarm and all is well again.
Just thought this may help someone .
