I just recently got a 1999 ram 1500 conversion van with the 5.9. I'm going nuts trying to figure out this ac issue. Only blows in the defroster vents which I know is a common issue. I've visibly looked at what vacuum lines I could find. Did blow tests on 2 of the check valves. The only thing I could find that may be off is the black rubber part to the left on the brake booster. On the inside to the climate controls it has 3 hoses going back to the climate controls. In the engine compartment at the firewall it only has 2 hoses going into it. I'm not sure if there is supposed to be a 3rd hose or not. Looks like there was an extra hole for a hose but, I can't find any loose hose around it. Would be awesome if anyone had tips, vacuum diagrams or pictures of that particular area. Thank you!
