When trying to start it truck has trouble turning over, draws volt down to 8v, resets ecm, and will crank lil faster and start, sometimes though soon as it starts it will die, then fires up and runs fine. When cranking its almost like it would have water on cylinder. Removed all plugs, they were clean. Crank truck over no coolant shot out of cylinders. Battery 6 months old. Any ideas what it is or what i can check?

Check the ground between the engine and battery. Use a jumper cable connected between the battery post something directly bolted to the engine block.
If that doesn't make a difference, it's probably the starter and/or starter solenoid.

Agree with this but also have the battery load tested at a local auto store. There always a chance you got a bad one particularly because it hit 8 volts quickly.
