I have an 02 with the 5.9, I started having issues with battery not charging, the positive terminal was corroded so I cleaned it with terminal cleaner and a wire brush hoping it would correct the issue.
Here is where I am scratching my head ...Sometimes it would take a jump without an issue but once I turned it off I was only getting the clicking noise ( my reasoning for getting a new battery), when I try jumping again it would only crank over but not start.
I read somewhere on the internet that disconnecting the negative on the battery for 30 seconds would correct the issue and it did . It has maintained this pattern all day ...obviously I have a bad battery but is there other issues that I should be concerned with???
