I have a 97 1500. I don't have any heat (only lukewarm). both tubes going to the heater core are warm so I don't think it's blocked. I flushed the coolant system. I'm thinking it may be my blendor acuator. It should be a simple process but when I go to the passenger side where it should be I don't see it? All that is there is a round metal post that sticks through the black plenum case. When I move the air settings around the cylinder moves so I know im in the right spot. It's like this is where the blendor actuator should be but there aren't even mounting holes for it. What am I missing?

I've never really been in there so I'm not really sure what to suggest other than download the factory service manual here and go through that

94-8 there is no blend door actuator. The blend door is controlled by a metal rod that's controlled by a cable from the a/c controls. If your heat is luke warm either the door is stuck/broken or you have a problem with/in your heater core.
