I have read a few threads on this forum as well as others about a temporary fix for a stretched accelerator cable ( to the gas pedal ) and have been using this fix since december 2014. After going away for 1 week and having the truck parked in my driveway, the gas pedal will not pull the throttle more than what i would say is about 10-15%. it feels like the cable is pinched or stuck somewhere, however, at the throttle body everything is smooth and i cannot see anything wrong with the cable. any ideas? thanks in advance for your contribution.

Would this fix be zip ties behind the pedal? If you did one might be too tight and getting caught on something? Just judging from what I've done myself lol
