I recently bought a 2001 5.2 and it came with a set of keys but the keyless remotes belonged to a custom security system that's no longer working or active. One of the remotes broke and I'm trying to figure out how to get a pair of newer ones.
The current keyless remotes are FREEDOM L2MK9310 3BTN model. It's a 3 button remote and as far as I can tell, there's only one button that works (which both opens and locks the doors)
I've found that O'Reilly's sells a cheap pair for like $28 that can be programmed to my truck, but that I have to have access to the lock, unlock, as well as panic buttons to program?
I called a Dodge dealer and they quoted me $540 for a pair.
What are my options?
