Losing about 5 inches on the reservoir every week or so only driving approx 15 km per day. oil level and color looks good. Coolant in rad is pretty old but doesnt look horrible. seems to be wet on the sides of the rad near where it connects to all that plastic junk. more so on the drivers side. ( Rad is only about a year old it was replaced when i hit a deer. pretty much everything on the front of the engine was replaced) Truck seems to run fine,no white smoke out the pipe no excessive water. It's currently -20 -30 celcius I seem to have good heat in the cab. can't smell coolant while driving but i notice i can smell it sometimes when Im out front on the truck.

I have a bad fan clutch that will be getting replaced this weekend along with the water pump t stat and housing.

is it my rad?..i dont really see any leaking hoses..but i notice there are wet spots along the sides of the rad from top to bottom, near front bumper on the frame and sway bar. I havn't noticed any puddles or spots on the ground. again this has been happening for about a week and a half..around the time my fan clutch went.

sorry im a bit all over the place but i would appreciate some help.

Get some fluorescent dye and put it into the radiator, auto shops should sell some that will work. Then wash off the radiator with some water and drive it for a bit. You can get black light pens pretty cheap, or if you have a worklight that takes a standard bulb, you can get blacklight bulbs for pretty cheap. Just look for the fluorescent dye.

Another option is to start tasting things :roflsquared:

I'd give all those connections a good looking over, rev the engine up and down with your hand while watching each connection.
