I had an issue today and one of my gas lines sprung a leak. Melted a bunch of **** but got it put out safely. The question is, what year engine wiring harness will work in my 1997 ram 1500 5.2 auto? Will any other years or one from a 5.9 work?

Wiring harnesses are tricky.. gotta make sure EVERYTHING matches.. w/ w/o abs, which tranny, any other odds and ends sensors.. i honestly would stick around a 97 maybe 96,98, check the sensors by the throttle valve and intake. Sport model vs regular.. stuff like that

check out painless wiring, buy the full brand new harness. that way you aren't guessing, and they are one of the best places i've heard of to use for wiring.
