There's an Idle Air Control sensor located on the back of the throttle body. Try pulling it off and cleaning and see if that helps any.
Is the truck running good other than the idle issue?

I'm with mark on this one. Make sure there are no missfires.

The P0121 is for a TPS...is it blowing black smoke at all when you accelerate? Is the harness for the TPS rubbing against anything on the engine? It could be a bad TPS out of the box, can't say it hasn't happened before.

There's a guy I worked with that had the same problem. Make sure there's an o-ring around the tps when it's on the throttle body. He got sold 3 from autozone without them and were all bad out of the box

I haven't had mine off but I've never seen a tps gasket for these. Just the o ring. I'll take a pic of a new one tomorrow if that'll help any

I had mine fall apart in my hand when I took the bolts out. I don't remember there being an O ring but it could have stayed on the TB.

A new tps should come with an o ring and a gasket. If the sensor has a groove around the base, use the o ring, if it doesn't, use the gasket
