Ok, so I'm a wannabe diy parts changer lube tech at best.......but I want to try and rebuild my transmission by myself....or at least give it a damp good shot. Now any good books on automatic transmission s. And any good books/guides on the 46re....thanks guys!!!

I have been looking into buying this. Seems to have a lot of different manuals for transmissions. I wanted to buy a tranny to build for when i hopefully do an engine rebuild.

Would be worth looking into. I cant speak for the manual but it looks good.

This is a pretty good video to show you all the ins and outs. If you have any questions just ask. I just rebuilt mine and it was my first time rebuilding a transmission. Wasn't too difficult just take your time and be organized. Use baggies and sharpies. They are your best friends.
