I'm in the market for a new truck and the more I look at the 2013s, I'm thinking about waiting for the 2014s to come out. It is my understanding that they've already stopped production of the 13s for the year. I wanted to see if anyone could give me their opinion on this... Pros, cons, etc and has anyone heard if there will be any interesting new features on the 14s?

The 14's are going to have a coil spring rear suspension, similar to the 1500's, so the ride should be considerably better than the leafs that the 13's have.
The ride quality is my only complaint going from a 11 1500 hemi to a 13 2500.
Had I know I would have waited.

I also read somewhere that the 14's r going to additional emissions, but I am not sure what that consists of.

Buy what you feel good with. I just bought a 13 1500 Longhorn. Could not beat the deal. First Ram truck and have to say this truck is first class. Very Satisfied!

The rear coil springs on the 2014 2500s will be very interesting. I can't wait until I could drive one of those. It has the potential to be a real game changer.

I went a test drove a 2014 1500 Sport last week. They are all over the Dodge lots by me. Extremely impressed but wasn't in the budget yet.

But, you may be able to cut a heck of a deal on a leftover 2013.

Are you looking for a 3500 or 2500? The 3500's mad their big improvements in 2013, so it wouldn't really matter. If you are looking for a 2500, I would wait for '14. New suspension and such.
