Question 5 volt supply gone missing
Got a lot of fault codes and check engine light illuminating in a 2000 5,9l Diesel version. After some research did detect that ECM wasn't supplying the 5 volts to the Oil pressure sensor or the any other sensors. Plugged in an outside power source for those and the check engine light wasn't so illuminating any more. So would need to find out where's the power for those. Anyone has any knowledge where the 5V supply is coming from? Is it regulated to the 5V in the ECM or does it come from somewhere else to the ECM? Also any knowledge about where else is the 5 Volts used than powering the engines sensors? Thanks before hand for all the info you guys can give.
