Not enough regular cabs in this thread!! Hope no one minds if i add a couple internet finds i fancy [emoji14]

Lots of great looking trucks on here as expected lol..

I myself prefer the single cab, has more of a truck type look. When I obtained my 6.7 back in 08, they had 2 single cab Cummins at the dealer lot, 1 a 5.9 the other a 6.7. They would not negotiate or drop down in price for the single cabs. The quad cabs there were literally over 100 of them and would negotiate in price and then some. It would have cost me way more for the single cab, so of course I ended up with the quad cab.

You'd think that regular cabs would be valued less because of lower demand but they must take into account the rarity of them. When i bought my truck they didnt budge but to find one this specific to what i wanted would have been impossible without an order to the factory :) and youre right they do look more like real trucks lololol!

They probably don't negotiate with them because there's not as much room for negotiation. I'm sure that the more they add to the truck (options) the more there is to nickel and dime us. Besides, the single cab tows the most so anyone that wants one is probably putting that baby to work. I'm sure they know that.I take trips with my mega cab. Twin boys in car seats and the wife wouldn't fit in a single cab.

That's correct whatever is in demand, and the quad cabs are in demand more so than single cabs. Just like you mentioned big families, and working crew. The single cab trucks weigh less, get better mileage, and tow more. You just don't see really any single cabs, especially in a 3/4 ton. I do like the more bed space they offer too.

I'd have liked to have gotten a quad cab but I wasn't going to be able to find one in my price range that would meat my loan criteria
I always wanted a regular cab so I was in no way deterred by this

Hardest part about finding one of these is finding one under 100k miles. Especially under 100k miles and at or below blue book

short of being a laramie and not being silver it's exactly what I was looking for. I don't think I've seen another 2007 regular cab with a 5.9 and manual transmission. Heck there aren't many 5.9 regular cab 6 speeds that aren't just bare bone work trucks (st) out there even

More bed space? Do the 3/4T RC's have a longer than 8' bed?
