Not enough regular cabs in this thread!! Hope no one minds if i add a couple internet finds i fancy [emoji14]
Lots of great looking trucks on here as expected lol..
You'd think that regular cabs would be valued less because of lower demand but they must take into account the rarity of them. When i bought my truck they didnt budge but to find one this specific to what i wanted would have been impossible without an order to the factory and youre right they do look more like real trucks lololol!I myself prefer the single cab, has more of a truck type look. When I obtained my 6.7 back in 08, they had 2 single cab Cummins at the dealer lot, 1 a 5.9 the other a 6.7. They would not negotiate or drop down in price for the single cabs. The quad cabs there were literally over 100 of them and would negotiate in price and then some. It would have cost me way more for the single cab, so of course I ended up with the quad cab.
That's correct whatever is in demand, and the quad cabs are in demand more so than single cabs. Just like you mentioned big families, and working crew. The single cab trucks weigh less, get better mileage, and tow more. You just don't see really any single cabs, especially in a 3/4 ton. I do like the more bed space they offer too.
