Pics to please.

Intercooler? Do have a turbo? The tow hooks should be bolted or in my case welded to a solid piece of steel that is bolted to the frame. You should not have a problem with air flow, there are a lot of guys running them down there without a hitch. There's a member on here selling some mounting brackets for that location.

I went with a Rough Country Light bar 20" and they sell specific brackets for this truck.

So everything was plug and play. Brackets sit behind the tow hooks and they match up perfectly.

Looks like it belongs there.

Here's mine. I fabed up a bracket to mount through the licence plate holes.

You probably could have gone wider huh?
Could have.... That is a 20". A 25" would fit between the tow hooks but wasn't sure how I was going to mount the light when I bought it. Nobody makes a mount for a 25" bar so if my homemade mount didn't work out I would have been stuck. Fitting a 30" bar requires shaving the tow hooks or having the light sit outside the bumper. Neither was something i wanted to do. Now that I have the mount worked out I will consider replacing with a 25" if/when this one dies. But for now I am happy with my $50 mod. :D
