MPG on new 2500?

I am seriously considering a new 2015 2500 diesel with the automatic transmission. Wondering what mpg I can expect highway driving 65mph? I realize it will increase some with mileage.

My dad get 17.5 mostly highway but he is on really big tires and a level. I hear that the 4x2 6.7's can get 24 cruising on the highway

I have a 2015 4x4 that got 20mpg at that speed on a trip from DC to WV. Parts of it were pretty hilly. In town I get between 14-16.5.

I've also noticed I can get better mileage by foot than I can with cruise set on the hwy.

@ 65 depending on what area (hills or mostly flats) will dictate what your mileage will be.

I have experienced 18-20mpg @ 75mph in some slightly hilly areas. Hand calculated, the mpg meter on mine is typically exaggerated by 2mpg.

Just the other day on a 90 mile round trip (99% hwy) I was getting 24-25mpg and I have a 4x4. :happy107:

Just drove home cruise set at 70 with the AC on and it said 23 on the EVIC. 24 miles all freeway at constant speed.

MPG on new 2500?
