Hey guys, I'm looking to trade my '14 4x4 Express (5.7 hemi) for a 2500 CTD. I'm curious how much I should expect to haggle off of MSRP for a reasonable price.

If your dealership has any '14s left you should be able to make a decent deal on one of those since the '15s are starting to arrive. They took $14k off the sticker when I bought mine. It all depends on how anxious they are to move the older trucks.

On a side note, if you plan on any mods I would look for a 2012 or earlier.
I can't help you one your original question..

This is true ^^^^^

Its crazy too that the retail on my '12 is $3k more than the negotiated purchase price from when i bought it new 18 months ago... And almost as much as a new '14 today.

A similar thing happened to the 06-07 5.9's. When I was shopping around, if you could find an 07 5.9 they were asking a lot more than the 6.7 07/08's. And it's still that way.

I just got mine today, 2015 laramie CTD. Sticker was like 59,998 or so. Got it got 52,500 including activating the NAV, and after all fees. Not including GAP though, which was another 800.

I dont remember, but maybe before tax tag and all that it came down to like 51,500, but that's just a guess. The trade in was a wash.

I think I was pretty lucky. It was the last '12 on the lot. They were anxious to get it gone. Plus this was the 3rd vehicle we bought from them.
