13-14's can't be deleted yet. So a 12 would be your only option if deleting was going to be something that you wanted to right away. At this point bullydog dog has the only tuner for the 13's but it's like $2000. There is no guarantee that anyone will come out with a delete capable tuner for anything past the 12's (at least for dodge)

I have a '12 gasser but wish I would've waited for the '13 simply for the tech upgrade...another thing to consider if that matters to ya

if you want to mess with DEF, go with 13+. 12 and under doesn't have it.

I have a '12 that is deleted and love it!! There are tuners out for the '13+ but they do not allow deletes. They only add power and they are big $$$. I personally would get a '14 or even wait for a '15 if possible. As mentioned above there is a lot of new tech beginning with the '13s and many have had a bumpy road. A late '14 should have a better chance of having them worked out.

Its the same motor. The new HO just has different factory tuning. If you are going to delete you will likely junking the factory tuning for what ever tune you decide to use.

Iv been getting 21MPG on the lie o meter equals arround 19 hand calc. If i try to hypermile like i did when i had my Prius C(Very big upgrade lol) i can get arround 25 on lie o meter. I have a 14' 3500 Megacab with bakflip tonnel cover (dont know if that helped or not)

HO is only on the 3500 and its an upgraded transmission aisin for a little under $3,000. It weights More. It does give you an extra 50 torque. It does allow you to tow more though
