Ok Gang...

I figure I would do a bit of show and tell of the Cummins injectors...

Here is a stock 235 HP injector.

Now take notice to how tiny the fuel spray holes are. (x10 mag)

Now once you disassemble the injector by loosen the collar nut this is what is inside. (Body, adjustment shim, spring, pintle seat, mid-body, pintle, nozzle, collar nut, copper shim)

Now remember you never want to mix and match parts from one injector to another. All these parts are machined for this particular injector.

Here is the pintle needle and the nozzle of the injector.

The top hole is the fuel hole this hole allows the fuel to reach down under the pintle and using fuel pressure lift the pintle against the heavy spring.

Yes I do but the thing is the human eye can't see the difference... It like looking at a human hair which measures 0.0015-0.0020 inches... That would be the amount of change as you go up. Or maybe the count of holes... Like those stockers are 7 hole.

I really don't want to have to pull my RV275 back out of the engine...

Kind of dirty but a older pic of my R275 (Unmagnified) - Yes the tiny holes are there...

Here is a pic of my stock injectors after 180K miles...
