2014 Ram 1500 Outdoors man drivers rocker rust

So I washed my truck yesterday and cleaned off the dirt that was stuck on the top of the drivers rocker panel. I find a scrape with rusted colour and bubbling around edges and tons of small little pin dots with a bubbel starting. My truck is a 14 Ram with only 17,800km on it. I have the extra warranty from chrysler Canada for rust protection. Do I have chance they fix it?

I would just bring it back and see what they say. But I would think they will tell you that you are out of luck. There is a way to do it yourself without having to repaint it entire thing, but it's not the easiest thing to do.

Take it in and ask. If you have the extended rust warranty, it may be something they want to dares from a preventative point of view. Even if not, no harm in asking.
