Default Another update: Ceramic Coating on 2017 RAM Sport!
I just picked up my baby from the detail shop! I dropped her off Friday for paint correction and ceramic coating. I am amazed at what this product does to the vehicle. The shine is something I have never seen before!

The buffer guy spent almost 15hrs buffing the entire truck from head to toe in order to remove all swirl marks. Then, the owner applied the ceramic coating on all the paint and trim.

At first, I was skeptical that about a brand new 2017 RAM Sport (almost three months old) having swirl marks. The owner had me stop over on Thursday and he pulled my truck into their detail garage. The part of the garage where they perform the buffing and coating is setup with SCANGRIP Multimatch Lights, which allow you to see the swirl marks in the paint. Because the dealer and factory have run this truck through a car wash, it swirled the paint. Swirl marks were all over the hood, doors, side of bed, etc. Granted you cannot see them without the specific lighting, but the coating would bring out the imperfections.

Anyways, the shine is amazing! I have specific ceramic shampoo for my foam cannon and ceramic detailing spray to use going forward. This help the longevity of the coating.

Special thanks to JaxWax and the owner, Jared for making my baby even more beautiful!

Here are a few pictures right when I picked it up. It was cloudy and rained some , so I have pictures of the bead. While writing this post, the sun came out, so I stepped out and took some pictures of the truck in the sun.

The above picture he took of the mirror why apply the coating. You can see the difference it makes on my brand new mirrors. Now, they are protected from fading.

Pictures below are with the sun.

Pretty nice! It looks like if you parked in a tree line it would cloak like the predator. I think I saw a car with this coating the other day. It makes the paint look strange (in a good way). Almost like highly polished colored metal...

Looks great!!!!! Your "Black" truck will thank you for the extra protection. It should reduce the number of scratches and swirls you get. The correction process is the most time consuming of the whole process. Product name?

Just cause it's loud don't make it fast and just cause it's shiney don't mean it's protected. Remember, going fast cost money, so just how fast do you wanna go?

Looks killer!!!

I got my truck ceramic coated as well with Cquartz Finest and it looks killer when cleaned up. The shine and gloss is amazing as is the way it repels water and liquids/contaminants in the air. Very expensive, but I will do it again when needed.
