Just like the title says. I have satin black rims (anyone with this color im sure knows how quickly and badly they show dust/dirt) with white painted accents to help REALLY show off that brake dust and dirt lol. I have never been able to go more then 20 minutes of driving before my spotless rims are CLEARLY covered in dirt or dust or brake dust (it just shows so clearly on these rims) and thats in beautiful summer time weather, even worse once the rain comes. This weekend i applied the wheel coat max guard to my rims waited 30 minutes and buffed off. im now 4 days into driving and i can not believe how clean they still are, stuff has impressed me so much i had to make a thread. For how well this product works vs the price and how many applications is in one tub this stuff is gold. coated my 20" rims and cant even tell i used any at all. ok im gunna jump to my phone real quick and post a few pics to show how clean they have stayed.

So here is after I believe 2 days of driving in mixed crappy weather. Cold and on and off sideways rain. I'll say to be fair my back wheels never get as nasty as my front ones do but hang with meecc0f8add88fb1b30f6617ad3fada98f.jpg

My front rim right now day 4 and a pic of the weather. This is insane, I wish I had a picture of how dirty these would be at this point without anything. Anyways, not trying to sell chem guys to anyone lol just can't believe how well this has worked on my rims and figured I'd share 45f3fa427276adbf3175869421645397.jpgf8397a47e2021d186d6dc344b1b7e971.jpg

Uhhhhh well it does definitely give them a shine that they wouldn't have without it, however now at day 4 that shine is fully gone and look exactly how my satin would look with nothing applied just simply much cleaner then they would normally be. They definitely never looked like a gloss black rim though, just a shiny satin if that makes sense. Like a extremely clean freshly painted satin would look, but you'd definitely see a difference if you set a gloss black next to my wheel immediately following the buff off. Again now at day 4 they look exactly like they normally would, just way cleaner. Here's a pic of the very next day after I applied and no rain had hit yet, you can see even though they do have a nice shine, you can still tell they are satin and not gloss855cb3a4940fb67e560498a804cb68e0.jpg

unfortunately I didn't think to take a pic of the rim after I applied so I don't have any close ups

You buffed them off? As with a buffer? Or did you just put it on, let it sit then wiped stuff off?? Keeps the brake dust off?? I have my finger on the “trigger” to order this stuff if it works as good as you say?? My Fuel Hostage wheels are impossible to keep clean....sucks but look AWESOME when they are cleaned...lol

By buffed off i just meant wiped off with a microfiber towel is all. I feel the exact same way with my rims lol so i know what you mean. i HATE how hard it is to keep em clean but when they are clean, they look amazing (to me.) well i mean, check my pics out.. if you look at my day 4 front rim picture you can see the dust starting to layer on the inside edges of the spokes so its not going to keep them flawless forever but.... and i can only speak for my wheels here but, my wheels in that 4th day picture look EASY twice as clean as they would normally after 4 days. If you want to hold out after i put the truck away for the night ill take another picture of the front and rear wheels up close so you can see exactly what im working with dust wise.... and ill look for a picture i got in my phone somewhere for a pic i know i have of my rear rim (cleanest end) after a few days of driving normally and its caked in dust as it always was lol. For me personally, this stuff is gold and i highly recommend.

So this is basically a freshly washed rim, I only have this picture because someone randomly asked for a picture of my wheel so I went and took this picture. You can see there isn't even any sling on my paint so freshly washed truck and great weather and the entire lip is basically brown lol right now at day 4 my truck is covered in crap from the weather but rim still looks much cleaner then this in the rearb99cd12644a17de6545cb45184f6a76a.jpg

So highly recommend the stuff?? Brake dust wipes off easy and doesn’t cling like normal? Wheels do look sharp in the pics man

I guess this isn't really a total fair comparison because it's poring rain out but best I can do. This is my back wheel right now. I bought this stuff for the sole purpose of being a sealant and trying to protect my finish was all, then after a day realized HOLY *$#* my wheels are still spotless??? After a few days and see they are still pretty darn clean I was like ok this stuff is awesome. 59fd8de4fe4486d7a52d570206da4641.jpgce0f202f9c5d0a2c20c08a777e50ed54.jpg

im aware i lost a valve stem cap also lol. i do highly recommend yes, but as far as how easy the brake dust will come off i do not know yet, only just tried this product and havent washed since but i can say without a doubt the brake dust has not cling'd to my wheels nearly as bad as it always has that is for sure, and for the amount you get for 20 bucks its def worth it. between my 2 vehicles this will last a very long time

Well the rain never stopped dumping so the wheels are still kinda wet but I got my LED light shining on em up close here so you can see the dust/dirt accumulation perfectly. For four full days of driving and in crap weather this stuff is definitely still repelling a good majority of crap. Here's the back wheelsdd1f4b18e238173d64d6ea7d01548f19.jpgd45835be83f646ef28058f89aa45b7d6.jpg918baf9da7ef5613717ce1f25be8a3b2.jpg

Shoot look at the backs vs the fronts lol I use a rim scrubbing brush that goes all the way through with every wash. Granted the backs accumulate more dust just by location but still

EDIT: I mean back of the rim, not back wheels vs front wheels

Looks like it works great, I’m just afraid it’ll turn my satin wheels glossy. I need to compare that reflection to mine
