What's a good product out there to really make the chrome shine. I want to get rid of all those nasty smudges from water, dirt, and grime and stuff that doesn't necessarily come off with just soap and water.

If only doing the chrome............I'd bet you could do it 10 times with 1 can (probably more!)

Unfortunately we don't ship single cans, too much to make it worth the shipping. (Shipping SUCKS). But, 2 cans with the RF discount would run you 35.16 shipped.

The oem grille, as well as the oem "chrome" rims are not actually chrome. The grille is coated plastic, and the rims have a coating on them as well. I would also suggest Fukken if you are doing these parts. However, if you are actually trying to clean chrome, check out Adams metal polish.

#000 Steel wool does a great job of taking road grim off, but it can remove clear coat. I used it to restore the bumpers and grill. I can see my self in them now.

Sorry I'm so late to the punch, but I recommend Adam's Metal Polish #1 and #2, as Assassin mentioned, to restore aluminum, chrome and SS. Hands down the best metal polish I have used. I have pretty good collection at the shop, from Mothers to all those no-name products you see at shows.

Obviously, it is unable to repair pits in chrome, but it will work the pits to a point where they are less noticeable.

Pretty good video of Adam showing how to use the products:

Once you've restored the metal, protect it with a product like Fukken Wax or Adam's Buttery Wax to prevent future oxidation. Adam's Brilliant Glaze really pops on chrome too!

Email me and I'll hook you up on the Adam's Metal Polish:
