hahaha, that's a good video, redneck language for the win!

Thanks for posting that though, I feel like a ******* now though because that's such a simple thing to do. I'll have a be picky about when I do it though because it gets hot a hell here now and waxing is a pita during almost any time of the day.

Not much of a method to it
Just keep everything wet/lubricated (including your hands)
Rub till you don't feel like rubbin anymore
Knead the clay everyone in awhile(when it start lookin dirty)

I enjoy doing it just to feel the difference in how smooth the paint is!

If you really want to feel the before and after difference use a cheap sandwich baggie, place it over your hand then lightly feel the surface of the truck. You can tell how you are progressing with the clay.

The clay bar works awesome !
It was meant to remove rail dust and factory fall out and brake dust.
If you don't use it on your vehicle your crazy !

Ever see a car and wonder why it has a rust spot in the middle of the door or quarter panel, roofor hood ? It's because either car was shipped by rail (Train) or metallic brake pads tossed a piece of the metal and melted in to the paint and started to rust.

I've clay bared everything that we own ! I've been using it since 1995

Another thing is some companies sell an attachment to allow you to use the clay with a da polisher so the job gets done a lot quicker

doing this tomorrow!! woot!

you just kinda judge when you should use a different side and to my understanding you just fold/mold it continuously until the whole thing is contaminated

Sweet merciful crap! That's horrid! Then again, I was clay barring a 2011 Truck. :roflsquared:

I'm tempted to do my Dad's '98. But an Ex Cab Long Bed with a high rise camper. Oh that will take 3 weeks!

My Dad has always been good about washing / waxing his truck.
Hell, he's got a '98 Chrysler product and all the factory clear coat is intact! :roflsquared:

I sure wish I had the patience to use a clay bar
I washed and wax with Black Box last weekend and it took all I had to finish the damn truck
So now that it has been waxed, Im good for about 6 months now LOL
