Was looking to get some input on if people are using foam cannons on their truck and if so what brand?

Go to Autogeek or Autopia or Detailed Image. I have a Chemical Guys foam gun which attaches to a garden hose. Also look up IK multi sprayer and foam sprayer. Each of these are around 15 bucks.

MTM is a top shelf brand with plenty of positive reviews

I use an Adam's Polishes foam gun and would definitely recommend it. Makes washing faster and easier while cutting down on surface scratches. Plus it's just fun to use.

Also have Chemical guys foam gun for regular garden hose and like it. Looking forward to getting pressure washer so I can't get the cannon but the regular does the job. Especially helps when you have areas you need to soak like bumpers for bugs/tar, heavily soiled areas from road grime or salt and to give a nice amount of soap for lubricant to avoid scratches/swirls from cleaning. Can't really go wrong with any of the name brands, all work the same

It does, but I use my gun pretty much exclusively now. The cannon is too much of a hassle and the gun works well enough.

I still always hand wash. I just use the gun to float off as much loose dirt as I can first because then there's less there for me to drag across the paint.

luckily mine only goes out on sunny days so not so much dirt, I have a monster power washer for the dust, does a great job. Good luck with your search.

I now detail for a living after hanging up my mechanics and i tried a few of these foam cannons and i feel they are kinda a waste i use a 2 bucket system both with a sediment rack on the bottom and a goid quality soap and ive always got just as good results

Attached is a truck i did for a young guy this year no foam gun and i found too it did not speed up anything

I have the foam cannon that connects to the pressure washer and ohh boy what a hassle just to set everything up and clean up after.

I recommend getting the hose gun instead as that's wha I'll be doing next. Process will be easier

I've heard plenty of people using a Sun Joe SPX3000 as their pressure washer. And just take your pick of foam cannon. Waiting on all my supplied to arrive. I've used a foam gun once, and it felt pointless without having pressure.
