Well I finally did a full detail, clay bar, polish, sealant, and waxed everything. Pics arent the best i know, but man what a diffference. Should have did this a long time ago. Pollen dosent even seem to stick to it now. Luckily I had my oldest son helping me, still took us about 8 hours to finish. He was hating life lol! Thanks to this forum for teaching amateurs like me on how to really clean a black vehicle.

Every time a head turns or you get a thumbs up from someone driving next to you, will help make you feel better about your hard work. Your truck really looks good. Once you have the "foundation" all you have to do is maintain it. Wash(2 bucket method) and dry and then use a detailer or liquid wax and it will look good for quite a while. Good experience for your son also. Quality time spent together.

Meguires: clay bar, polish, M21 sealant and carnuba wax. I applied it with a cheapo 5.5 inch rotary. Sealant removal was the most labor intensive process, but it seems well worth it. Finished it up with a light buffing pad.

Looks great! It's a lot of work but every time you walk out to it you'll appreciate it.

I bought a wax/sealant removal soap for when I do mine. Made the removal process as easy as washing the vehicle. Lol. Watched the wax melt off literally with the scrub of my hand. It's such a nice feeling when you are done to be able to look at it and say you did that
