Well look at you guys lol.

Aerospace huh? So I'm good to launch into orbit then? :/

You know Jay I have been wondering if I got some of the Wolgang sealant on the black plastic when I did the sealant after the buff job...Wolfgang also makes a plastic product that is $20. I was so pleasantly pleased with the sealant I thought of giving it a try. But you havnt lead me wrong yet and both of you use this aerospace stuff so maybe I will give it a try.

Honestly it seems like these products that make the plastic wet are fine but soon as it rains they leave residue all down the paint which sucks and the plastic gets spotty and weird.

I did have success with the 6" section I put the Adams VRT Tire and plastic treatment on. So maybe I will do that and park it in the garage for 4 days or so. Really let it set in then go back and wipe like crazy with dry rag.

At one time or another we all used stuff that worked and some stuff that didn't. Sometimes it was a long and expensive journey. Try a couple of different things and see what works best for you and in some cases, what does the least amount of damage--LOL. Your truck reallllly looks good. You have done a great job. I'm glad you are satisfied with the combination of products that your using.

Applied to much and didn't remove quick enough. When removing use a light damp cloth

It has been my experience that most of the water-based protectants will turn cloudy/milky if they get wet within a few days after application... even 303 Aerospace Protectant. Used to happen all the time on my '04 Saturn Vue bumpers... just had to keep re-applying to keep til they looked new again, then buffed off the excess with a clean, dry terry cloth/towel.

I tried it with mine, but like everything else it's a very short lived fix and the gray comes back very quickly. I even did the heat gun and then the Ultimate Black to protect it and it came back in a couple weeks.

Black Wow Pro is some of the best stuff I've seen and used. I had a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 that that stuff worked miracles on. I plan on using it on my 2016. I've also had a good experience with Mothers Back to Black. It doesn'tas nearly as long as Black Wow Pro

Car Pro also has a product called PERL. I'm experimenting with it now.

It's an ok product. Once things get grey pretty much nothing works except repainting it.
