You can try buffing it with a good quality chrome polish. Use a electric palm buffer.

0000 steel wool ....rub in same direction, while it will remove larger scratches it leaves micro marring.. by rubbing in same direction the micro marring is not noticeable.
Then follow with chrome polish as already mentioned
