It was worth it. I sold it to my wife as a "family purchase" and used it on her car. She was amazed how awesome it worked (so was I).

I dunno what that guy uses, but I use a chemical from Meguiars called Back to Black. Our 08 spends a lot of time sitting outside, and if you've not looked at them in awhile, basically, the whole back half of the cruck is black plastic.

It's a simple process, just follow the directions on the bottle.

That reminds to make a little order up...

Pretty sure that if I like this fukken stuff, I could put one of his kids through college with as much as we detail around here.

Im no pro so he may have a better Idea than I. But I cover the alternator and the intake if you have aftermarket one. and anyplace that shouldn't be wet. Spry on simple green and power wash the **** out of it. works well for me.

I did that one time and never really saw any good that it did. Best thing I have found is a bottle of detail spray. You don't need a high end one for this, so that cheap turtle wax ice will work well for this. You need that and a stack of microfiber towels.

I have seen people use a tire shine under the hood and armorall, but both are dust MAGNETS and while they might look good for a few miles after you've done it; the first dirt road or windy day will leave your entire engine bay buggered up.

Simple green does really well at getting heavy soils out, but again, I prefer some detail spray and that's it.

I have a question. I just bought my truck a few weeks ago, it sat for a very long time, anyway it has some water spots on the windshield that i just cannot get off no matter what I do. What do you suggest? Claybar the windshield?
