I could try vinegar but I might be a little leery of CLR. Be my luck it would do some damage.

Vinegar and or lime away. Just watch where you drip.

Start with a good wash, followed by a claybar. If you have any etching left from the spots use a glaze.

I`ve got a question. I`m embaressed to say I "glug glug" then spray to make lotsa suds.
You on the other hand first add water to bucket then add a mesured amount of wash. You mix this by adding a little more water, correct? Or by hand with the sponge?
I think I get the wrong mixture of wash to water. Alot of times after my truck drys you can see through the window a film that hasnt washed off. This could also be partly due to the fact that my truck needs a wax job and the water isnt beading and running off the truck properly.

When I detailed at my uncles dealership we had this thing that was supposed to mix water and soap right for you, it was slow and I hated it. I usually usually pour some in and fill it with the hose.
Your film might be because it's a Wash and wax soap
Only thing I could think of is make sure you start rinsing from the top of the truck and push the dirt and grim down

This I do, but I wouldnt doubt if I`m using too strong an amount of wash vs water.

Are you doing it by hand, or using a machine? Check out our vendor Thompson Racing, for Adams Polishes. They will totally hook you up with what you need.
