Hey guys so I have this clear "bubble" we'll call it and after asking around it is thought to be tree sap so I'm going to treat it as such, my question is. How do i remove it without damaging the paint?

Gas line antifreeze (methyl hydrate). Put some in a clean rag and rub gently until it is gone. Works like a charm.

The ring should come out too with more cleaning. Once you get the large sap off and have what you think is the clean surface use a bug/tar cleaner, or if you already have it clay bar.

Rubbing alcohol, preferably 90%+. Put a wash cloth on top of the tar then soak to rag in the rubbing alcohol and let it sit for 15mins. Will loosen the sap and wipe off with minor scrubbing. Final step is clay bar if needed.

Quick Detailer (any brand.)

Do not wash/water/wet the surface.

Spray Quick Detailer on the tree sap, with good amount.

Wait a minute.

Then use a micro-fiber cloth (or our finger tip) to 'gently' wipe it off.

Works like a charm.

I carry a bottle of Goo Gone Automotive in my truck storage. Takes off everything I've ran into so far and is safe for paint. Works well for stubborn stains on my white truck.
