water spots on glass

whats the best way to remove the water spots from my glass on my 04. ive tried Mothers water spot remover for glass but it didn't do anything. just trying to get some input before I waste anymore money. thanks

Clay Bar and/or polishing compound.

If you choose the compound, Don't use pressure, like ANY pressure.
Let the compound do the work!

Also, you can wax your windows once they're clean to help prevent this in the future.

does it have to be any kind of compound like any certain cut or just plain old compound

clay bar worked great for removing the thick water spots on my back window thanks for the help guys

Pure vinegar and a Mr Clean Dry Eraser will work... I clay my windows all the time. I use Adams glass cleaner as the lube and then follow up with their glass sealant.

Pretty much any mild paint correcting polish can be used on the glass. Glass is MUCH harder than our clear coats so using this sort of polish is safe. It also means you don't have to have a special product just for your glass. It's just not necessary!
