id never use them. something about dirt, a towel, and no water to pull it away. Just sounds like a swirly nightmare on my black paint.

I've used the F1 cleaner that they like to bombard you with at gas stations. It does what it says, but it's expensive, I would still recommend washing regular if your truck super dirty. They're really just for like shining up at the car IMO.

Meguires quick detailer has given great results with a light film of dirt, although I still usually do a quick water mist and towel dry to finish it off. Either way still less intense than a full wash.

I would never use it if I had a lot of dirt and mud and sand on the truck. Even if it worked great I still couldn't try it. I'm talking about when you go for a drive and have some bugs splattered on the front or like right now in ga the pollen it crazy. I would only use it for moments like that and the in between water washes

Can't beat good all water and soap. That stuff will be awful scary to me I could see scratches all over my paint now. I could just imagine what it would do something that is black.

Works great if you do it right - I like Optimum No-Rinse, and I'm pretty generous with the amount I spray on before I wipe off.

It's a pain doing it with the truck because it's so big though.

I use Chemical Guys Ecosmart for a quick weekly cleanup if the truck or car isn't too dirty. The wax that's in it helps maintain a great shine. It hasn't left a single swirl or scratch in anything I own, the key is to use the proper technique. Wipe in one direction and roll the microfiber up as you wipe and it'll be fine.

I've used Adam's WW and WW towels on my Cobra and it seemed to work well. Once I finally put it back together and wash it for the first time after sitting for close to 5 years, I'll probably use good old water, but after that it will be back to WW. I wouldn't use it on an overly dirty car, but something dusty or that was just driven through rain should be okay.

If your vehicle isn't really dirty,...the waterless wash is the best way to go, no doubt!!!! :favorites13:

i live by the stuff, used it for 2 years on my black 2014 ram and no swirls were added, ive used chemical guys and adams, and more recently mastersons waterless...

rank from how good they are:

1st: mastersons waterless wash ( the owner used to work for chemical guys and branched off on his own)

2nd: Chemical guys Ecosmart

3rd: Adams waterless wash (IMO adams waterless wash is nothing more than a detail spray instead of a waterless wash

And trust me it pains me to not put chemical guys at the top of this one, i use their products for my detailing business

I've never used the stuff, however a good friend that is a detailer swears by it. He has tried to talk me into trying some but I just can't bring myself to do it. S0--back out to the driveway with my hose and 2 buckets, freezing my ass off in the cold, knowing in my mind there MIGHT be a better way, just to scared to try. Maybe I'll put it on my "bucket list" :naughty:

I was gonna say... damn, it was like back in the day when my uncle rebuilt a 351 Cleveland in the living room.

lol nice, i would do something like that but im that guy who wears flip-flops everywhere, at least when im not wearing cowboy boots, so putting carpet down in my garage seemed fitting so i can work on my trucks barefoot, plus i have a detailing business so its much more comfortable when you have to polish low spots and dont have to lay on concrete
