What to use to protect fresh paint?

I just seen a few posts that you shouldnt wax any freshly painted parts... Now the guy I had paint my stuff said a month, but how do you keep the trucks paint from gettin nasty... is there any protectant out there that you could use?

just hand wash it allot ... till time for wax . no preasure washers ect ... its a pain in the ass i know

All you can do is keep it clean. Don't give dirt a chance to settle in to the paint and you will be fine.

Spray bottle of good ole H20 and a mircofiber.

another option is using Meguiars M80, it IS paint soop safe yet still provides protection to the paint while letting it cure.
