On my new 16' ram I noticed a kind of white or grey ness about it. I can scratch it with my fingernail and it seems to be black under it. Anyone see this? Best way to make it black as it should be?

What ever product was used to clean the trim must have left a residue. I normally use McGuire's back to black and have no problems with it. Try that or one of the many you will see recommended by other posters.

Might be excess wax? If that's the case peanut butter will remove the white residue, it's worked for me before, probably depends on whether or not it is wax residue, and how bad it's set in.

A coworker offered me to try his back to black. I'll do that first.

Try Griot's rubber cleaner or dry wax remover. Both are great products.

I used Forever Black on my 2011 model a year ago, still looks great today.
