Ok...got a guy looking at my truck. Said he will trade his truck plus $13k cash for mine.

What he has-

1998.5 3500 DRW CTD 24v... Long bed extended cab. Its has 190,*** miles on the body and tranny (stock auto tranny) and 15,*** miles on a fresh rebuilt engine. He said the previous owner rebuilt the engine.

The body is perfect...complete rust repair and paint. Rust repaired the right way...no bondo.

Stock everything...never had a tuner on it.

What are something I need to look for. Says it has a new lift pump but I'll prob be upgrading it anyways.

Here is a picture of here...beautiful truck. I've still gotta decide if I want a DRW or not.

thats a nice looking truck, but....not sure I'd want the extra expense (tires) and fun of a dually.

But for a UN-molisted truck that had no tuber or rode hard ... its worth it .

He could still be driving that truck at 1 million miles while yours puked 4 motors

Braydon , make sure you get paperwork on the rebuild . and ask why it was rebuilt .

He said the rebuild was bc of something dealing with an oil line messing up. He has all the paper work/pictures on the rebuild.

I just dunno if I want a duelly lol or a stock tranny

Dually aren't to bad
You cant really go to much bigger of a tire since they will rub in the rear which makes tires a little less expensive and easy to find cheap on craigslist

You know why I getting rid of my truck... I don't need the payment anymore. I'd keep it if it was paid off. I can afford it, but what happened made me realize that having a newer nicer truck with a payment was unneeded

I hate duallys. That being said, sounds like a pretty sweet deal!

Hows the interior etc? Those are the things that can get really hard to fix.

My big pet peeve with dually are most of them are modded in a tasteless manor, most so they can't be used in a manor they were built for. Tere are alot of farm trucks around me that are pretty damn nice an I know my buddies third gen 3500 is a blast to drive
Why don't you like them?

I love your current truck. However if you are needing the DRW and no payment then it would definitely be a smarter choice.

ummm........you act like I keep trucks long, or drive a lot of miles? LOL

I sold my 08 with 11700 miles on it. My 10 has 13800 on it now........but I'll probably keep her until she's got 30? LOL
