Stopped at a local exhaust shop but To see about having my cat taken off, they were closed but it was a good picture oppurtunity
8B2A-7370B72A6C71-887-0000008ECC22978C_zps6c18c604.jpg

Tried to go pick up a set of PW flares so I can get rid of te rust over the rear wheel wells but the guy never called back, guess he isn't to worried about selling them

I have a squeak that I can't really find but I think's the front U joint on the rear driveshaft
I crawled under it and there seems to be some grease on the yoke and it also has the plastic ears on the yoke meaning its the factory U joint. I guess I should replace before I drive another 240 miles home Friday.

I was happy with how clean it was underneath, I'll be spraying it with fluid film or something of the sort soon.

I need to order CJC brackets for the light bar (sucks I have to buy 2 of everything now haha)
A friend of mine at work was nice enough to get me prices on a list of parts from his brother who owns a diesel shop without me even asking haha
Insight CTS and efi live might happen sooner then I had planned

I'm envious of your truck, I've always loved a RCLB Cummins.
Those MPG numbers are pretty impressive too!

I've always had a soft spot for them too
Ive been looking at trucks for months and have only stumbled on maybe 4-5 RCLB Cummins with a 6spd as well as power windows and locks and <100k miles
I wasn't crazy about the color till I actually went to look at it
Now I'm just torn between keeping the chrome or blacking it out (dont really want to do again)

Things are coming along fast!

If you are doing the front u-joint, might as well do the rear while you have it off.

Switched out to Recon cab lights, might end up putting them on the gray truck
Not sure i like how only half is lit, my girlfriend probably wouldn't even notice though
Also my drivers side marker light was out while I was switching them, but was on when I got home
Weird

I kinda like the chrome on the dark blue *runs and hides*

I do too
I'm having a hard time deciding where I want to go with the truck
It needs some body work that could easily be done and covered with bed liner but I don't really wanna go that route again
I haven't really found a chrome or polished wheel that I like
Factory aluminum wheels or fuel trophy are my two top choices so far

Get the body work done. Get the panel sprayed to match.
I vote '14+ BigHorn 18" aluminums. Ooo how I want some!

You've got all the time in the world to figure out where to go.
Do the subtle things for now, like retro'd all chrome / clear headlights.

Worry about the big stuff later.

What do you mean by only half the lights light up? You mean behind the LED's there's no output? I want to do cab lights but am nervous drilling holes into my truck, lol.

Not a huge fan of chrome, but it does look good against a dark blue. You should get spinners. :893MrT-thumb::joke:

Since I put 1,000 miles on it the first week I had it I'm going to wait on getting thuren springs, wheels and tires

Only the front half of the cab light lights up, there are three LED on a board that only face forward

Just ordered an intake, hoping it shows up by Saturday since I had it delivered to my parents house and not mine

My 2nd hand cab lights came in yesterday.
If the weather holds this weekend, I'll have 15 fresh holes in my roof!

I do not like how the Recon LED lights only forward light either.
I will eventually switch my lights to a 360° LED 194 bulb, but not just yet.

Does it already have an exhaust? I'd get a nice 4" Turbo back.
I know a straight pipe is neat n all, but I really REALLY liked how my BullyDog 4" TBE sounded on my '95. Still had that straight pipe tone, just mellow(er).

The muffler and tailpipe have been replaced, no idea what kind it is
I have an appointment to have the cat taken off June 10th

Going to see how it sounds with just the muffler in place and go from there

Nice truck, man. Who's gonna do your EFI?

I'd personally recommend Les with Silver bullet tuning or Anarchy Diesel. I have mine from Anarchy and put down 561 rwhp with their tuning and Fleece's billet 63mm charger.

Look forward to this build

Draconian or PPEI probably
Got a pretty good price on an autocal, csp5 switch, insight CTS and pyrometer from draconian

I'm just hesitant about the stock clutch which I don't really want to replace for awhile (girlfriends is going w/190k miles on it so hers will come first)
I know I won't just run a lower horsepower tune

Had an AFE intake shipped to my parents house because I've been having trouble with mail at my apartment and it doesn't look like it'll come till Monday so I'll have to wait a few weeks to get my hands on it

Nice hearin' from you Esai, I'd sure like to hear what your up to these days and what else you've done to the truck

Nice! Yeah I've heard good things about those guys. I'm not too knowledgable about the manual trannys, but I'm sure just an EFI tune will smoke it lol.

That sounds good. You plan on digging into the performance world or keeping it mild?

I'm deep in an internship and fixing to finish school, which I noticed you just did- so congrats! As far as the truck, the only new part is the Fleece turbo. That'll be it for a while until I can get Firepunks tranny lol. My mildly built trans is not holding up to the turbo and tune at alllll. As soon as that get's settled a 75mm is going to be sitting under that 63 in a compound set with 75% overs... 800hp here I come! lol

Dave, here's a better picture of the cab lights lit
They don't bother me nearly as bad as my drivers side running light working when it wants to
Anybody have any ideas why it's out sometimes? I guess easiest thing would be to change the bulb

I made a mount my 3' firestick cb antenna tonight out of a piece of scrap stainless
