Help me out...
When I'm driving on the interstate (truck is already warm and at operating temps) my boost will be setting at around 10 psi (flat ground) and my egts will be hovering around the 700* mark...well about 30-45 minutes into the trip, my boost will drop to about 6 psi and my egts right around the 600* mark?
Why is this happening? Were I drove to has an elevation change of only 100 ft or so. Would that cause it?

Yea thats normal... but why would I randomly have a lower boost on the same stretch of highway (flat highway) at the same speed?

I typically see about 2-3 PSI boost at about 500-550*F at 55 MPH.
But my boost pressure will wonder up and down depending of load and grade...

Remember that boost pressures and EGT's are also related to air density and weather changes.
Simple changes to humidity can and will make changes like this also.

Or just get a PSIa Gauge... (Pound per Square Inch Atomsphere)... So 14.7 PSI is normal atomsphere and 0 PSIa would be 30" inches of vacuum...
Just another way to look at it...
